NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Bertha C. Naumann, 91, of Nora Springs, died Monday, May 13, 1996, at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Her body was cremated. There will be no visitation.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, with the Rev. Ernst Thompson of St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Rock Grove Cemetery.

The family requests memorials made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, in memory of Bertha C. Naumann.

Bertha was born July 4, 1904, in Millard, Neb., daughter of Gustav and Augusta Naumann.

She lived in the Millard and Omaha, Neb., area until 1972, when she moved in with her niece, Erna C. Younger and her husband, Harold L. Younger of Nora Springs, until entering the Nora Springs Care Center in May of 1992.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Inez Naumann, of Ralston, Neb.; two nieces, Erna C. Younger and her husband, Harold, of Mason City, and Julie Stanbaugh and her husband, Dan, of Omaha, Neb.; one nephew, David Naumann and his wife, Dawn, of Omaha, Neb., and their children, Daniel, Paul and Anna Naumann, all of Omaha, Neb.; one great-nephew, Fred Younger and his wife, Judy, of Nora Springs; and a very special great-great-nephew, Cole Younger, of Nora Springs; a great-niece, Susan Younger, of Dallas, Texas; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Oswald, Chris, Otto, Bill; two sisters, Clara and Anna; and one niece, Edna Cofoid.
