CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Sharon Calkins, 49, died Monday, September 25, 1995, at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Richard Tector officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests memorials be sent to Heart to Home Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Sharon Kay Calkins was born April 24, 1946, in New Hampton.

Survivors include her parents, Richard and Mary Calkins of Charles City; one brother, Martin Calkins of Shenandoah; and two sisters, Shirley DeVries of Atlanta, Georgia, and Janice Dehn of Memphis, Tennessee.
