CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Funeral services for Wilhelm Mathews, 87, who died at Cedar Valley Hospital Saturday, will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday following prayer service at 1:45 at Grossmann's chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

He came from Germany 66 years ago.

Pneumonia developed into heart trouble. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. August Youngerman and one brother, Henry, both of Charles City; and four grandchildren.
