CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Anna Mae Marvin, 78, of Charles City, died Tuesday (June 30, 2009) at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dennis Niezwaag, officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday July 2, at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main in Charles City, and will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
Arrangements are by the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, 641-228-2323.

Pastor Dennis Niezwaag will officiate at services on Friday. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City.
Anna Mae Milhan Marvin was born July 30, 1930, in Howard County, the daughter of Arthur and Agnes (Bunston) Milhan. She received her education at Riceville. On April 20, 1951, she was united in marriage to Keith Marvin at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Anna Mae worked for a time at the eggplant in Osage and Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home. She was a member of the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, U.A.W. Auxiliary and the WIBC Bowling League. Her interests included dancing, bowling and playing 500. Anna Mae was a dedicated homemaker that always took an interest in what her family was involved in and looked forward to sharing the events of life with them.
Living family members include her husband, Keith Marvin of Charles City; eight children, Donald Marvin of Kansas City, Mo., Richard Marvin of Mason City, Jerry Marvin of Charles City, Francis (Cindy) Marvin of Britt, Rodney (Jessica) Marvin of Clear Lake, Debra Jo Marvin of Stacyville, Kelvin (Jennifer) Marvin and Kevin (Sonja) Marvin both of Charles City; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three sisters, Leona Arndt of Charles City, Esther (Marvin) Shoger of Riceville and Mary Lou Carnile of Edgewood; and a brother, Ralph (Martha) Milhan of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Lee Marvin; and a brother, Harold Milhan.
