MARBLE ROCK, IOWA - Howard Frank Melka, 83, of 424 Beelar St., Marble Rock, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at the Liebe Care Center in Greene.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 22, at Reid's Funeral Chapel, 423 Bradford St., Marble Rock, with burial to follow in the Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock. Military honors will be conducted by Stroud-Gates Post 387 American Legion, Marble Rock. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Reid's Funeral Chapel, 423 Bradford St. in Marble Rock and will continue one hour before services on Monday at the funeral chapel.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Howard Frank Melka Memorial Fund in care of the family P.O. Box 316, Marble Rock, IA 50653.
