CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Brenda J. Spangler, 44, of Charles City died Thursday, June 4, 2009, in Charles City of natural causes.

Inurnment will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at Riverside Cemetery, Charles City. A wake will be held at the Community Center in Nashua on Tuesday, June 16, from noon until 4 p.m.

Brenda Jean Spangler was born May 31, 1965, in Missouri. She lived for years in California before moving to Nashua, in 1995.

Living family members include three sons: John, Matthew and Timothy Williams of Nashua; her father, Paul Williams of Charles City; a sister, Melinda Williams of Charles City; and a brother, Paul Williams Jr. of California. She also left behind two grandchildren, Harley Williams and Zoe Williams, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends — including a very special friend, John Farrell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Williams.
