Floyd Resident
Dies in Phoenix;
Rites Friday

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Grossman-Hage Funeral Home here for Robert Maurice Ingersoll, 76, A resident of Floyd since 1916. He had lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for the past two winters. He died Sunday in Phoenix, following a heart attack.

Burial will be in the Howardville Cemetery. Friends may call a the funeral home here after 7 p.m. Thursday.

He attended the Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was retired, having worked at the Hart-Parr Co., and later the Oliver Corporation as a machinist.

Survivors include three sons: Lewis, Charles City; Archie, Floyd; and Maurice, Henderson, Minnesota; three daughters, Mrs. Theodore Ross, rural Charles City; Mrs. Wilhelm Goecken, Charles City; and Jeanne Ingersoll, Phoenix, Arizona; 14 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs, Roy Burrill, Oelwein.
