Twin Deaths Still Mystery

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - A second autopsy has been ordered following the death early Friday of a second twin child due to mysterious circumstances.

Christine Tollefson, seven-monlh-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tollefson, died shortly after midnight Friday, less than 72 hours after her twin brother, Craig, had died on Tuesday.

Dr. E. E. Schmeidel ordered autopsies for both of the children but said there was no clue yet as to what caused the deaths.

The children were reported to be healthy Monday but became seriously ill Tuesday morning and were taken to the Floyd County Hospital where Craig died shortly thereafter. His services were held Thursday. Services for Christine will be at 2 P.M. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home with burial to be in Riverside Cemetery.

Besides the parents, survivors include three sisters, Cheryl, Patty and Sandra, and two brothers, Darin and Jerry, all at home, and grandparents Mrs. Adell Sullivan of Charles City and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Tollefson of St. Ansgar.
