CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Roberta B. Buttjer, 64, of Charles City, died Thursday, May 15, 1997, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. David Craig officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City. Sunnyside Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Roberta B. Buttjer was born March 28, 1933, in Lincoln, Arkansas.

Survivors include her mother, Mabel Barr of Charles City; one daughter, Tammy Welsh of Sheffield; two sisters, Rowena McBride of Morena Valley, Calif., and Rosalene Schmidt of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother, William Barr of Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
