Alfred H. Rodenbeck

ROCKFORD, IOWA - Alred H. Rodenbeck, 88, of 508 East Main Ave., formerly of Greene, died on Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Greene, with the Rev. Perry Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Greene, with a 7 p.m. public Scripture service, and one hour before services on Saturday at the church.

Alfred H. Rodenbeck was born Nov. 22, 1908, near Allison, Butler County.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Rodenbeck of the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City, and one sister, Mary DeBower of Allison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Alfred H. Rodenbeck Memorial Fund in care of the family.
