CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Myrtle Hunt, 87, a former resident of 1909 Bailey St., died on Wednesday, March 5, 1997, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. A.C. Wegner Jr. of the Faith Bible Chapel officiating. Burial will occur at a later date. The body was donated to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Myrtle Lorraine Whitson Hunt was born July 21, 1909, at Waverly.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur Hunt, Charles City, and Richard Hunt, Rockford; two daughters, Gloria Brimer, Carolina Beach, N.C., and Phyllis Biekert, Mason City; 11 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, one brother and seven sisters.

Memorials may be directed to the Heart to Home Hospice of Charles City.
