CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Russell M. Fisher, 75, of 1622 Timber Ave., died Monday (July 21, 1997) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Dennis Niezwaag of Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, near Charles City, with graveside military honors by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday.

Russell Melvin Fisher was born on February 7, 1922, at Charles City.

Survivors include three sisters, Darlene Greenman of Floyd, Jerry Spurbeck of Charles City and Helen Whitney of Denver, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter and two brothers.
