Dwight R. Pogemiller

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Dwight R. Pogemiller, 72, of 407 Second Ave., died Friday (Jan. 10, 1997) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Larry Vallery and the Rev. Debra Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday. There will be further visitation one hour before services at the church.

Dwight R. Pogemiller was born Nov. 7, 1924, at Newport.

Survivors include his wife, Marlys, of Charles City; three sons, Keith Pogemiller of Muscatine, Craig Pogemiller of Charles City, and Garry Pogemiller of Council Bluffs; one daughter, Nancy Daley of Waukon; six grandchildren; and three brothers, Thomas Pogemiller, Robert Pogemiller and James Pogemiller, all of Wapello.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

The family suggests memorials to the Heart to Home Hospice, Floyd County Cancer Friends or to the Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund for scholarships.
