CHARLES CITY,IOWA - Leonard A. Goddard, 87, of 510 Sixth Ave., died Wednesday (Dec. 11, 1996) at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Debra Lincoln, associate pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Leonard Archie Goddard was born on April 27, 1909, at Fort Atkinson, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Clarice, of Charles City; one daughter, Rosalie Pieper, of Charles City; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Memorials may be directed to the Heart to Home Hospice, the Trinity United Methodist Church, or the Pythian Sisters.
