CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Jesse W. Delap, 87, of 5 Cedar Terrace South, Charles City, died Monday (June 13, 2005) at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City under the care of hospice.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, with Pastor David Werjes officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City, with military rites conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Sunnyside Memory Chapel, 2267 Old Highway 218 S., Charles City, and at the church one hour before services on Friday.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the Jesse W. Delap Memorial Fund in care of the family at 5 Cedar Terrace S., Charles City, IA 50616.
