CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Marita Hollerud, 66, of Hayfield, Minn., formerly of Charles City, died Sunday (Feb. 1, 2004) at the Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, Minn.
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. in Charles City, with the Rev. Solomon Odoom, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church of Floyd, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of the service on Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Marita Hollerud, a resident of Hayfield, Minn., formerly of Charles City, died Sunday, February 1, 2004, at the Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, Minn.
No funeral services are being planned. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.
The Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Marita Louise Hollerud was born December 30, 1937, at Charles City, the daughter of Delbert and Naomi (Teal) Anderson. Her education was received at Charles City. She married and later divorced. Marita lived in Charles City for several years and later moved to the Austin and Lyle, Minn., areas where she worked with Cedar Valley Services. Her favorite pastimes were reading and going on walks.
Living family members include a daughter, Penny (James) Bass of Charles City; a son, Randy Anderson of Charles City; several grandchildren; and a brother, Carrol (Dolores) Anderson of Charles City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Kay Bremer.
