The Gallagher family later moved to Brooten, Minn., where she attended school and graduated high school, class of 1921. Helen was a school teacher and taught in the rural school setting of St. Paul, Minn., until her marriage. On May 10, 1933, she was united in marriage to William M. Casey at St. John's Catholic Church in St. Paul, Minn. Helen and William had one son, William Francis Casey, he died of Polio in 1952 at the age of 15.
