NORTHFIELD, MINN. — Thomas A. Robeson passed away on Feb. 7, 2003, in Minnesota. He was cremated at that time and burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Rudd Cemetery in Rudd, Iowa.

Tom was born to Lyle O. and Bernetice E. Robeson on January 4, 1940, in Nora Springs, Iowa. Tom attended school in Rockford, Iowa, and graduated in 1958.

He worked as a farm hand for a few years west of Rockford, then went on to work for Eastern Airlines at O’Hare Field in Chicago for many years and transferred to Minnea-polis, Minn.

He continued to work for Eastern Airlines until it filed bankruptcy and he then went to work for Northwest Airlines. He worked for that airlines until his death.

Tom is survived by his three children, Daniel (Monica) of Maxwell, Iowa, Dawn (Steve) Havey of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Nicole of Apple Valley, Minn. He was the loving grandfather of nine. He is also survived by his mother, Bernetice Robeson, Nora Springs; sister, Doris Robeson Tourtellott of Streamwood, Illinois, and brother, Gary (Lois) Robeson of Deltona, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle; sister, Linda, in infancy, and brother-in-law, Gordon Tourtellott.

Family and friends are invited to attend the burial at the Rudd Cemetery.
