JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Paul W. Gronbach, Sr., 69, formerly of Charles City, died on January 16, 2003, in Jacksonville, Florida, due to chronic lung disease. Memorial services for him were held January 19, 2003 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Jacksonville.

Paul is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bobbi, and eight children; Paul and Denise Gronbach, Belmond; Dave and Bernie Gronbach, Pueblo, Colo.; Lori and Randy Lewis, Ft. Dodge; Russ and Kim Gronbach, Northwood, Ohio; Sue and Steve Spangler, Findlay, Ohio; Steve and Aengela Gronbach, Northwood, Ohio; Renae and Jay Stanford, Jerry City, Ohio; and Brian and Sandie Gronbach of Cartersville, Ga. There are 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Three sisters also survive; Shirley Larson of Waverly, Betty Sankey, Ft. Dodge and Adabelle Sheets, Perry.

Paul's parents, five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
