NASHUA, IOWA - Geraldine M. Schultz, 72, of Nashua, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in Rochester, Minnesota. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Nashua. She has donated her body to science.

Geraldine was born May 14, 1930, in Rockford, Floyd county, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Louise Janssen. She was united in marriage to Leroy (Bud) Schultz in 1948. After retiring from the Riverside Chautauqua Nursing Home she continued to work part-time selling the county atlas. Geraldine enjoyed spending time helping and being with her family, friends, and neighbors.

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Leroy of Nashua; a son, Craig Schultz of Bassett; two daughters, Diane Graham of Rose Hill, Kan., and Teri Hammond of Mason City; a brother, Gordon Janssen of Morgan, Texas; two sisters, JoAnn DeGeus of Britt and Doris Hicok of Mason City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elmer and Roger Janssen; a sister, Pearl Griffin.
