CHARLES CITY, IOWA - June H. Huxohl, 78, a resident of North Cedar Terrace, Apartment No. 122, died Friday (April 5, 2002) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 605 S. Iowa St., Charles City, with Richard Tector, an elder of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating.

The family suggests that memorials be directed to the June H. Huxohl Memorial Fund.

June H. Huxohl, 78, a resident of North Cedar Terrace Apt. #122, Charles City, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Memorial Services for June H. Huxohl will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 605 S. Iowa Street, Charles City. Richard Tector, an elder of Jehovah's Witnesses, will officiate.

June Helen Huxohl was born September 29, 1923, in Charles City, the daughter of Lester and Helen (Waterman) Jaeger. After the death of her mother, June was raised by her uncle and aunt, Joseph and Hilda Nacey of Charles City.

She graduated from the Charles City High School. In 1948 she was united in marriage to Otto Carlisle Huxohl. They made their home in Charles City where they raised their two children. Through their retirement she enjoyed traveling with Carlisle to the Gulf of Mexico during the cold winter months. After her husband's death in 1988, she was active in Jehovah's Witnesses and the Senior Citizen's Center, where she helped out as treasurer. She worked at First Citizen's Bank in Charles City and Mason City. June enjoyed needlepoint, sewing and her family's enjoyment with horses.

Living family members include a son, Carl Huxohl and wife Debbie of Kingwood, Texas; daughter, Carla Huxohl of Corwith, Iowa, four Grandchildren: Joshua and Rachel Huxohl of Kingwood, Texas, Carlita Jergens and husband, Mike, of Sumner, Iowa, Christian Humphrey; a stepmother, Nina Jaeger of Charles City, Iowa, one brother, Dale Jaeger and wife Barbara of Mankato, Minnesota; two sisters, Diane Edgelhardt and Karen Oeltjenbruns, both of Charles City, Iowa; several nieces and nephews;
special friends, Dick and Joan Tector, local members of Jehovah's Witnesses and the people of First Citizens Bank.

Her parents, her husband, and one brother, Wayne, preceded her in death.

The family suggests memorials be directed to the June H. Huxohl Memorial Fund.
