Claude Hall

Claude E. Hall, 78, of Charles City, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City of natural causes.

Funeral services for Claude Hall will be held Thursday, February 7, 2002, at the Sunnyside Chapel, Charles City, at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. A.C. Wegner officiating. Burial will take place in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Sunnyside Chapel Funeral Home, and Thursday from noon until service time.

Claude E. Hall was born April 14, 1923, in Floyd County, the son of Henry and Rachel (Nelson) Hall. A veteran of World War II, where he served in the Army, Claude worked at Oliver/White Farm in Charles City for 34 years and belonged to the UAW of Charles City.

Living family members include a brother, Elmer Hall, and one sister, Opal Severin, both of Charles City;

He was preceded in death by four brothers: John, Earl, Raymond and George; four sisters: Goldie, Mabel and Lucy Hall, and Minnie Streich; and two half-brothers, Ervin and Mike Hall.
