CHARLES CITY, IOWA - William A. Tector, 95, died Monday (Feb. 8, 1999) at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at a later date with burial in Riley Township Cemetery at Marengo, Ill. There will be no visitation, his body was cremated. The Hauser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William Albert Tector was born Sept. 16, 1903, at New York City, N.Y.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Tector of Charles City, and David Tector of Manitowoc, Wis.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, two sisters, and two infant brothers and sisters.
