Martin Sigler, 74, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and formerly of Rudd, Floyd county, Iowa, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.

Martin Duane Sigler was born July 4, 1933, near Dougherty, Iowa, the son of Martin and Dorothy (Jenkins) Sigler. He received his education at the Ulster Township School.

On October 18, 1952, he was united in marriage to Lois Dreher at Albert Lea, Minnesota. Lois died in January of 1985. Martin then married Beverly Brown on August 17, 1991. He was an independent truck driver traveling the United States. Martin enjoyed dancing and living life to the fullest.

Living family members include his wife, Beverly Sigler of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons, Richard and Martin Sigler; two daughters, Sharon (Robert) Beek of Mason City and Vona Dunaway of Las Vegas; a sister, Maxine Parker of Charles City; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lois; a brother, Larry Sigler; and two sisters, Beulah Mae Sigler in infancy and Connie Kantaris.
