Beverly Cook, 75, of Charles City, Iowa, died on Friday, August 25, 2006, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.

Beverly June Cook was born June 5, 1931, at Charles City, the daughter of Ralph and Amanda (Erickson) Cook. From birth Beverly suffered from the affects of cerebral palsy. She will be remembered for her sunny disposition, independence and concern for others. Her interests included playing with kittens, going to movies, listening to music and attending family gatherings. She always appreciated having her great nieces as her caregivers. Beverly looked forward to visiting with her many friends especially Judy Thorson, Chuck LaMaster, Margaret Walsh and Arnold Haller.

Living family members include a brother, Rolland (Joyce) Cook of Charles City; a sister, Evanell Petrun of Baden, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Evelyn Gager, Kathlyn Lutz and two in infancy.
