Ileen M. Michels, 47, of Charles City, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City.

Patty Kellogg will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Ileen Marie Michels was born in Osage, Iowa. She attended the New Life Assembly of God in Charles City.

Her interests included, camping, fishing, bike riding, crocheting, gardening, planting flowers, working on car engines, swimming, traveling, taking pictures, playing the guitar, reading her bible, and spending time with her family and friends. Ileen will be remembered as having a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone in need, and truly being a GIVER.

Living family members include her husband, Rick of Charles City; a son, Charley and his girlfriend Sarah of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Raynita of Clarion and Milagro of Charles City; one granddaughter, Taylor of Charles City; three heart adopted children, Sam and family, Jeremy and family, and Michael; her mother, Anita of Mason City; her biological father, Ray and family of Charles City; one brother, Raymond of Mason City; one niece, Kelly of Waterloo; and one nephew, Raymond III of Waterloo; one heart adopted sister, Chris and family of Arizona; one step brother, Sam and family of Charles City; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her father, Larry and one sister, Ranita.
