Leroy Draheim, age 58, of Ionia, Chickasaw county, Iowa, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, following a brief illness.

Leroy Edward Draheim was born August 26, 1947, at Charles City, the son of John and Mildred (Kilby) Draheim. He graduated from the Charles City High School. Leroy owned and operated the Basset Bar until his retirement.

Living family members include a sister, Maida Wiegmann of Charles City; and five nieces and nephews, Denise (Jerry) Conway of Austin, Texas, Jeff Lore of Bellville, Texas, Bobby (Pam) Lore of Bassett, Valerie (Mark) Tedder of Buda, Texas, and David Lore of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a half sister, Phyllis Butler of Shedd, Oregon.
