Robert Gary DeBolt, age 59, of Vancouver, Washington, and formerly of Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his home.

He is the son of Robert E. and Marjorie DeBolt of Charles City. He graduated from Charles City High School. Robert served in U.S. Navy for 20 years, before finishing college and then was a council at Vancouver Veterans Hospital until his retirement in 2006.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carrie; by two daughters, Darcie of San Diego, California, and Lacey, Vancouver; by his parents; and by three sisters: Karen (Andre’) Moutenoh, Patricia (Richard) O’Banion of Nora Springs, and Marilyn (Gary) Wilcks of Ames.
