NASHUA — Ada Jane Jensen, age 71, of Nashua, Chicakasaw county, Iowa, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Muse-Norris Hospice in Mason City.

Graveside services were held on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City with Pastor Lundula of the United Methodist Church in Nashua presiding. Pallbearers were: Charlie Harrington, Randy Jensen, Roger Hicok, Matt Hinch, Paul Jensen and Mike Jensen.

Ada Jane Jensen was born on April 15, 1937, in Waverly, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Evelyn (Miller) Rausch. She received her education in Nashua and graduated from the Nashua High School in 1955.

On Nov. 25, 1955, at Republic Church, rural Ionia, she married Charles “Chuck” Jensen. To this union four children were born. Ada worked many different jobs in the Nashua area throughout her life. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and all sorts of crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of Nashua; one son, David (Sue) Jensen of Willmar, Minnesota; three daughters: Lori (Randy) Jensen of Des Moines, Susan (Charlie) Harrington of Ionia and Barbara (Roger) Hicok of Clear Lake; nine grandchildren: Paul (Susie) Jensen, Michael Jensen, Matt Hinch, Amy Hinch, Lindsay Harrington, Whitney Harrington, Taylor Harrington, Samantha Hicok and Sara Hicok; one great-grandson, Ethan Jensen; and one sister, Paulette (Lynn) Bonwell of Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
