Mrs. Angeline Zipse

Services for Mrs. Angeline Mary Zipse, 82, will be held Wednesday, April 9, 10:30 am, in the Immaculate Conception Church Rev. Roger Rethamel will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Zipse died Sunday, April 6, at the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home where she had been a patient for the past two months.

Mrs. Zipse was born in Hew Hampton on February 16, 1904 the daughter of George and Angeline Magruder Green. She received her education in the New Hampton schools. On January 10, 1925 in Ionia, she married George Clifford Zipse.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Madonna Circle and the Senior Citizens. She was a retired school teacher.

Survivors include three sons, John, Northwood, James, Austin, MN and Charles, Ft. Dodge, one daughter, Mrs. Betty Wilkinson, Green Valley, AZ; 10 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Subbert, New Hampton, Mrs. Madonna Pitz, Charles City, and Mrs. Rosemary Roethler, Ionia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1980 and one daughter.

The Madonna Circle will recite the rosary Tuesday at 3 pm and the Scripture Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 pm both at the Hage Funeral Home.
