GRATIAS, John C.

Passed away on August 26, 2006, at age 86. A 65-year resident of Sacramento, he was a longtime florist in the area. He is survived by a daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Services on Friday, Sept. 1, at 3:00 PM at East Lawn Cemetery. Published in the Sacramento Bee on 8/31/2006.

John attended school in Nora Springs, and lived in Mitchell, County. He served in the U.S. Navy. After the war he and his wife from Iowa moved to Sacramento, CA.
