ROCKFORD, IOWA - Funeral services were Monday for Mrs. George E. Metz, 63, of Rockford, who died Friday at St. Mary's hospital, Mason City, where she had been a patient five days; prior to becoming a patient in the hospital she had suffered several strokes; born at Clear Lake July 19, 1887, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Watson; married to George Metz, Apr. 25, 1925, at Manly; they had lived in Rockford the last three years, leaves husband, two sons, Robert and Roger Metz, both of Rockford, one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Person, Oelwein, and three brothers, Herbert, Clifford, and Elmer Watson, all of Mason City.
