Thank you for the information Dorothy. I posted this information on Ancestry.com and got the same information from a person named Neil. The name is spelled differently...Overhouse versus Overhus. Barge is listed with a DOB of 1878, which could be close to my grandfather's birth. I am sending in a request for a death certificate for my great grandfather. If that does not pan out, I will definitely have to make another trip to Iowa. I know there are many cemeteries in the surrounding area of West Union. It could be quite a challenge. I will definitely check out the Fayette County Historical Center if I make it to West Union.
