It’s been more than 10 years since you posted this query, but I stumbled across it while revisiting a familiy tree project. I believe that I’m married to a descendant of one of the children that you say came to the US with Benjamin Swale in 1858. I don’t have any more info on Benjamin than what you have, but I do have information about his sister Jane and her descendants if you are interested. And I’m very interested in anything you might have related to Jane’s (and Benjamin’s) ancestors.
