No connection with this Schwartz family but ..
From what I can determine, Jacob Schwartz (April 1853 - 12 Jan 1931) came to the USA in 1879, married about 1884, Fredricka Unknown (1867 - 26 Sept 1916). Both are buried in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery north of Westgate, Iowa. They had no children. There are other Schwartz families in the area, but seems no obvious connection with Jacob.

Maria (9 July 1854 - 24 Oct 1948) was married to Ferdinand Klenzman (3 Nov 1857 - 24 Mar 1917) about 1881. They were parents of four children, Lizzie, Mary, Ferdinand and Martin. Ferdinand and Maria are buried at Fairbank Cemetery, Fairbank, Iowa. Martin who had been an Oelwein businessman, is buried at the Fairbank Catholic Cemetery.

I did not find them on the 1920 census but in 1930, Jacob and Maria Schwartz were living in Oelwein. There was a Kinsman’s Greenhouse and Nursery on the south edge of Oelwein for many years … and Martin had either a dry cleaning or mens clothing store if I remember correctly.
