I am searching for Andreas Torgersen, born 29 Dec. 1852, and emigrated from Hadeland, Norway, to Iowa in 1870. I believe he was living in Fayette County in 1906. My grandmother came to this country in 1906 and is known to have stopped in Fayette County to see her uncle, while on her way to Barron County, Wisconsin. If anyone has any information about Andreas Torgersen, I would be very happy to hear from you. Thank you.
