Just found a clipping from Oelwein Daily Register dated December 18, 2000 that announces that the Arlington Library purchased a microfilm reader, printer to help make local information available to patrons. The library has several years of the Arlington News and Strawberry Point Press-Journal on microfilm.

The years of information on microfilm include:
Brush Creek News, 1879 - 1896
Arlington News, 1896 - 1977
Strawberry Point Press-Journal, including Arlington News, 1978 - 1987

The library also has a hard copy of the Press Journal between 1988 and 2000
