I'm trying to establish if my grandmother, Mary Jane Parker Holcomb was born in Fayette County, and where in 1867 or 1868. She was married three times in Linn Co., IA and the certificates all document she was b. in Fayette County, IA. Her married names were Holcomb, Lyons, Hayes. Her father was Charles Parker, b. OH, 1832; Her mother was Elizabeth Davis Parker, b. 1836 probably IL. Mary Jane m. Bert (Bird) Holcomb, and their children were: Viola, Lucy Ella, John William (my father), and Harry...who died young.
