Thank you Dorothy, I am almost - real sure-- this is the Chas. Pendleton, I am looking for. I have reference that he was killed in the Civil War, but have not know when or where. I also have reference that his 2 boys were raised by the HENDERSHOTT and STILL families, of Fayette co Iowa, so want to know the connection. I see several HENDERSHOTT from Fayette co enlisted in Civil War. I sent for the JOHN ( co K, Gray Beard reg) pension records, but to expensive rigt now to send for more.
