Searching for Brooks ancestors in Fayette Co., Iowa. Benjamin Brooks died 1-6-1864 in Arlington, Fayette Co. His son, Jesse, married first wife Pernine Howe Jan 1851 in Linn Co. Ia.
Second wife Sarah A. Pender in 1859. Looking especially for records on Jesse's children:
Caroline (my grandmother), Alice, and Jessie.
