Burials at Greenwood Cemetery, Fremont township, for Head family members include L. C. Head (1834- Sept 1902) and J. Wesley Head (1831-12 Nov 1910). Obituaries for these gentlemen should be available through the Fayette County Historical Center at West Union. In 1900 Lewis and wife Jane were living in Sumner, Iowa in Bremer County so also possible that the Bremer County Genealogy Society at Waverly would also have information.

On 1900 census, Jane stated that she had 7 children of which 4 were still living. Three sons, James, Charles and John were still living with them in Sumner at that time.
