In Response To: Maurice Casey (Carrie Bergquist)

Also
1895 Iowa State Census, Oelwein, Fayette, Iowa
Casen, Marris, 34, WI

Note: All I have access to is a transcription of the 1895 census. I suspect Maurice was at the bottom of one page, and the rest of the family on another, and this is how it was transcribed.

I also think that Marris = Morris = Maurice when sounded out

1870 census Pewaukee, Waukesha, Wisconsin
Casey, David, 45, farmer, Ireland
Lizzie, 22, keeping house, Ire
Morris, 9, WI
James, 7, WI
Mary Ann, 6, WI

1880 census Pewaukee, Waukesha, WI
Casey, Daniel, (or David), 51, farmer, Ire Ire Ire
Elizabeth, 3?, Ire Ire Ire
Mary, 15, WI Ire Ire
Ellen, WI Ire Ire
John, WI Ire Ire

1880 census Waukesha, Waukesha, Wisconsin
Casey, James, 17, Servant, WI Ire Ire

Maurice, aka Morris not found in 1880.

I'm not related. Just do Fayette County Lookups when I have time.
