The Barnhouse Cemetery located east of West Union in a CRP field is being restored by the Fayette County Pioneer Cemetery Commission. Descendants or relatives of William and Mary Barnhouse who died in 1878 and 1883 repectively, are asked to contact the Fayette County Historical Center in West Union, IA for help with documenting the family's history.
