—In December, 1894, Andrew Nelson, of Fayette county, was killed in a drunken brawl on the Clermont road. Willie Smith and Frank Dorland were charged and convicted of manslaughter on the trial of the case. Dorland appealed and the Supreme Court has reversed the decision in the lower court, thus giving him a new trial.
