Jessie Meyers dies in Maynard Monday.

Funeral services for Mrs. George Meyers will
be held at the Maynard Methodist Church, 2 PM,
Thursday. She died unexpectedly Monday, July
9, 1951, after a short illness.

She was born March ll, 1879 at Greeley,Iowa, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Beckner, and she moved to Maynard at the age of two. She married George Meyers on November 28, 1897. They
celebrated their golden anniversary in 1947 and
their 53rd in 1950.

Survivors include her husband, four daughters,.
Helen, Mrs. A.L. Butters; Doris, Mrs. Wayne Roberts; Ruby, Mrs. Max Shaffer; and Grace,
Mrs. Andrew Gantenbein; two sons, John of
Maynard, and George of Hazleton. Also one
brother, Fred, of Minnesota; several grand
and great grandchildren. Two daughters died
in infancy.

The body is at the Delsing Funeral Home,
Maynard.Burial will be in Long Grove cemetery.
