Former area man to be interred

Funeral services for Gene Mabb,56, Waterloo, formerly of Clermont, will be held today, Thursday Oct. 20, at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union. Interment will be in God's Acres Cemetery, rural Clermont.

A roofer by occupation, his survivors include his wife, Jessie; three sons: Dean, Brandon; David, Hawkeye; and Dennis, Cass Lake, Minn.; two daughters, Susan Halligan, Brandon; and Mary Mabb, Waterloo; his mother, Mildred Mabb, Clermont; a brother, Mervil, Postville; three sisters, Joyce Ramaker and Gail Herman, both of Clermont, and JoAnn Drier, Postville and 11 grandchildren.
