Man Killed at Arlington.,
Oelwein Record:—The little town of Arlington was greatly shocked Saturday evening by a terrible accident at Anderson’s Blacksmith and machine shop. A man by the name of Tower was grinding a plow share on an emery wheel, when without any warning the wheel broke, the fragments flying in all directions. One piece struck Tower just above the heart and another in the head knocking him senseless. The accident occured about 6 o’clock p. m. the man was carried to his home. He lingered along until 11 o’clock when he died.
