G. P. Joslin Drops Dead.
West Union Argo:—Shortly after dinner on Monday G. P. Joslin went to his room at the home of Sam Mishler, in northern part of the city. Presently one of the children went to grandpa’s room and found him leaning heavily against the bed. He asked the little one to call Mrs. Mishler. She came and found the old gentleman gasping for breath, He was placed on the bed and the neighbors were alarmed, but before medical assistance could reach him he was dead. Mr. Joslin had been a resident here for more than thirty years and was a man much respected. He was in his eighty-sixth year. Funeral services this afternoon at two, from the Presbyterian church, Revs. Todd and Gillett officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 28, 1812 and died January 2, 1899. He is buried in West Union Cemetery.
