Mrs. Phoebe Ann Rogers, mother of Mrs. S. W. Harris, passed away at the home of the latter on Wednesday afternoon. Brief funeral services were held at the home yesterday morning by Rev. Gammons, and the remains, accompanied by Mrs. Harris and son Roy were taken to Arlington, Iowa, for interment.

ROGERS
Phoebe Ann Wire was born in Dublin, Canada, Feb. 12, 1837, and departed this life Jan. 22nd, 1913.
While yet a child, she came with her parents to Jo Daviss county, Ill., where she grew to womanhood and was united in marriage to F. E. Rogers. They resided there for a number of years before coming to Iowa, settling at Arlington, Fayette county, where she lived till after the death of husband and son, and for the past four years she has made her home in Cresco with her daughter, Mrs. S. W. Harris.
She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Harris, two grandchildren. Mearl and Roy Harris, and two sisters, Mrs. Debbie Lorsing, of Port Huron, Mich., and Mrs. Maryette Bartoff, of Loveland, Cal. Funeral services conducted by Rev. John Gammons were held at the Harris home, Thursday, and the remains were taken to Arlington for interment.
