Louis Thorman Buried Here

Louis Thorman who has been living at the county farm for a number of years, died there and the remains were brought to Oelwein yesterday and buried. He seems to have no relatives here except a few distantly related and but little can be learned of his life.

Note: believe this is Louis A. Thorman (b. abt 1878), son of Louis and Mary Ann Myers Thorman. His mother died in Wadena County, Minn. in 1907. He had been a resident of the Fayette County Home and Insane Hospital since before the 1920 census was taken. At that time age given as 41. Prior to this he had been a hired man for many Jefferson township farmers. Had sister Mary Thorman and brother George W. Thorman. Grave is unmarked at Woodlawn Cemetery.
